New from Texas CJ7

Hello all, I'm looking to put the R2.8 and an ax15 in an '84 CJ7. Never owned or worked on a diesel so this should be quite the adventure. I've seen a few companies making adapters and even kits but any advice is welcomed! This will be a longer term project and I'm just getting the ball rolling with new axles now.

Which axles did you go with? Can't wait to see the build.

I plan to go with a Dana 44 front and a "Dana 489" new from ECGS. Haven't pulled the trigger on either quite yet since I'm not 100% settled on a gear ratio. The engine swap part of the build will likely be a few years down the road, I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row and plan it all out.
