  • 1964 Volvo Amazon by Heritage Driven

So not meant to be promotion but hey, we had some fun and built something new.

1964 Volvo Amazon powered by a Cummins r2.8 with some things missing and others added.
Complete ground up build that will be for sale later this year.

R2.8 powered, EGR deleted, Doc deleted, tuned up a bit to about 200hp/370ftlbs
GM TR6060, 6 speed manual with .57 OD
    1310 Tom woods drive shaft
Ford 9” axle with LSD 3.70,2.70,and settled on a 3.25 ratio
    2” drop coils and shocks
    4 link rear
    Disk brakes
    Wilwood pedals
    Method 17” wheels 205 tires
    17 gallon fuel cell
    rack and pinion
    Tilt column
Cruise control!!!! And yes it works like a champ
    procar seats
    Vintage Air AC
    Dakota digital guages
    Kenwood flip out deck
    12” sub, etc etc
    little wild interior

Built for fun and well SEMA show, look for it this year at SEMA 2018.
took it on the Cummins cruise and averaged 40mpg and one tank was 45.7 mpg!!!

Let me know what you think, totally off the wall but felt it would be a great option to make a great daily driver and track car. It will smoke the tires in 2nd all day.

Wow that's amazing in so many ways. I want to see under the hood on this one.

Was hoping to get a closer look and talk more when the caravan made the stop in Portland at Cummins Northwest. Cool build and great meeting you!
