  • Best way to get TPS signal for 4l80e controller?

Hey guys, I'm looking for the best option to get the 4l80e controller to work. What is my best option to get the TPS signal. I have been doing some reading about tapping into the can bus but not exactly sure how it's done. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Do not just tap into the CAN wires. Has to be done properly,
best location to plug into the CAN harness at the 3 pin connector near the thermostat housing.
This is the foolproof location that works every time.

Thanks for the reply! Is it as simple as getting the correct connector and wiring it into the tran controller or does the Cummins pcm need any programming done?

Cummins pcm needs nothing. It is can high and can low so if it doesn’t work the first way flip the wires.

your trans controller will need to be programmed to see the can information.

Awesome! Thanks again for the info. From what I have read on here, it looks like compushift is the one to use.

Compushift works I’m sure but I have only used PCS personally
